Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the website and services of the Institut Universitaire de Developpement International (IUDI), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
Description of Services
IUDI provides online theological and development education services, including:
- Degree programs (Master’s and Doctoral levels)
- Course materials and educational content
- Student support services
- Academic resources and tools
Eligibility
To use our services, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements
- Meet the admission requirements for your chosen program
- Provide accurate and complete information during registration
User Accounts
Account Creation
When you create an account with IUDI, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
Account Termination by IUDI
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms of Use
- Engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
- Fail to meet academic requirements
- Fail to fulfill financial obligations
Account Termination by User
You may request to close your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. Please note:
- Outstanding financial obligations must be settled before account closure
- Academic records will be retained as required by law
- Refund eligibility follows the policy outlined below
Acceptable Use
When using our services, you agree NOT to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
- Share your account credentials with others
- Submit false or misleading information
- Interfere with the proper functioning of our services
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Use our services for commercial purposes without authorization
- Harass, threaten, or harm other users or staff
Intellectual Property
IUDI Content
All content provided by IUDI, including but not limited to:
- Course materials and curricula
- Videos, audio recordings, and presentations
- Written materials and publications
- Logos, trademarks, and branding elements
- Software and technology platforms
is the exclusive property of IUDI or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Student Work
Students retain ownership of their original academic work. However, by submitting work to IUDI, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, and archive your work for academic and administrative purposes.
Limited License
IUDI grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use our educational materials for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes only.
Tuition and Fees
Payment Terms
- Tuition and fees must be paid according to the payment schedule
- All fees are quoted in US Dollars (USD)
- Payment is accepted per module or per semester
- Payment plans may be available subject to approval
Pricing Tiers
IUDI offers multiple pricing tiers:
- Regular Rate: Standard tuition rate ($30 USD per credit unit)
- Academic Scholarship: 10% discount for full-time students ($27 USD per credit unit)
- Daidanso Scholarship: 50% discount for students with ministry commitment ($15 USD per credit unit)
Refund Policy
Refund eligibility is determined by the timing of withdrawal:

| Before course start date | 100% refund (minus administrative fee of $50 USD) |
| Within first 2 weeks of course | 75% refund |
| Within first 4 weeks of course | 50% refund |
| After 4 weeks of course | No refund |
Additional conditions:
- Refunds are processed within 30 days of approved withdrawal request
- Scholarship recipients who withdraw may lose scholarship eligibility for future enrollment

Third-Party Services
Our services integrate with the following third-party platforms:
Tally.so
Our application and contact forms are powered by Tally.so. By submitting forms, you also agree to Tally.so’s terms of service.
Cloudflare
Our website infrastructure is provided by Cloudflare. See Cloudflare’s terms of service.
Academic Policies
Students must comply with all academic policies, including:
- Academic integrity and honesty standards
- Attendance and participation requirements
- Grading and assessment criteria
- Degree completion requirements
Violations of academic policies may result in disciplinary action, including dismissal.
Disclaimer of Warranties
IUDI provides its services “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
- Accuracy or completeness of content
- Uninterrupted or error-free service
- Security of data transmission
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, IUDI shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
- Damages arising from service interruptions
- Actions of third parties
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount of fees paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless IUDI, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
- Your use of our services
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any rights of third parties
Dispute Resolution
Informal Resolution
Before initiating formal proceedings, you agree to contact us at [email protected] to attempt to resolve any dispute informally. We will work in good faith to address your concerns within 30 days.
Formal Proceedings
If informal resolution is unsuccessful, any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Cameroon, applying Cameroonian law.
Class Action Waiver
You agree to resolve disputes with IUDI on an individual basis. You waive any right to participate in class actions or class-wide arbitration.
Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website. We will provide notice of material changes by:
- Posting a notice on our website
- Updating the “Last Updated” date
- For enrolled students, sending email notification at least 14 days before changes take effect
Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
Governing Law
These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Cameroon.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and IUDI regarding your use of our services.
